On the glass

Work that earns
the wall.

Everything on a DAN screen is designed by a studio. Here’s some of what SIDES has made.

Design with horsepower

Designed, not just displayed.

DAN is built and run by SIDES Creative, a design studio in Doylestown, PA. Every screen plays on-brand work made by the same studio that designs identities and websites, so your message looks the same from the storefront to the screen.

Why DAN

Never a
black rectangle.

A booth gets three days and a menu board gets every day. Both fail in the same boring ways: the wifi drops, the content goes stale, and nobody notices a dead screen. DAN is built around those failures.

01

Plays through an outage

Everything a screen needs is stored on the player and checked before it plays. When the hall wifi or the shop’s internet drops, the loop keeps running.

02

Changes in seconds

A new price, a sold-out special, a fix for day two of the show. Edit it and the screens change within seconds, not at the next check-in.

03

Right menu, right hour

Breakfast until eleven, lunch after, a late menu on weekends. Content runs by date, time of day and day of the week, set once.

04

Booked ahead

A holiday menu or a show-day launch takes every screen at the time you pick, then hands them back by itself.

05

Content made for you

On-brand slides built from your logo, colors and even your product pages. You don’t need a design team.

06

Tall or wide

Portrait menu boards and booth totems, landscape walls. Each screen gets content cut for its shape.

07

We see the glass

Every screen sends back a picture of what it’s showing, so “is the booth on?” gets a real answer before you get there.

08

Proof of every play

A play report by creative and by screen, down to the second, exported to CSV. You know exactly what ran.

09

Any screen with a browser

A DAN player is a small stick, but a smart TV, a kiosk or another system’s box can join through a web page, with the same reports.

Touch screens

Screens people
can use.

At the booth, a DAN touch screen plays its loop until someone walks up. Then it’s theirs: swipe through your products, jump to any one, open its pages. Walk away and the loop comes back on its own.

  • The whole brand, by touch. Every slide and product in one deck, swiped through or picked from a strip of thumbnails.
  • Plays itself when nobody’s there. How long it waits before taking over again is set screen by screen.
  • Always current. The deck is built from the brand each time it opens, so an edit reaches the screen without remaking anything.

Switching

Already on another system?

We move you over. Your playlists, their order, their timings and their schedules come across, then we swap the players one screen at a time. Nothing goes dark in between.

  • Your content comes with you. It’s imported, not rebuilt by hand.
  • Keep the TVs you have. Any TV with an HDMI port works.
  • One screen at a time. Each new player is tested before the old one comes out.
  • Your old boxes can bridge the gap. Many signage players can open a web page, and DAN can play through it until new players arrive.
